Truck plunges off Bay Bridge; one dead in morning crash Sun, 10 Aug 2008 15:55:00 -0400 A video grab released by WBAL-TV shows the aftermath of a three-vehicle collision on the eastbound span of the Bay Bridge early this morning that left the driver of a tractor trailer dead and caused the 18-wheeler to plunge into the Chesapeake Bay, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority Police. Police spokesman Cpl. Jonathan Green said it was the first time in his 15 years with the agency that a vehicle had gone over the side of the bridge. |
